Andy on 05 Feb 2013 asked "hello, I cannot understand why the ignition timing degrees are on the right of the tdc watching the disc. Isn't the rotation opposite those points?"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Easy; 1) find TDC and mark the mag housing opposite the arrow on the timing disc, 2) turn the flywheel anti clockwise to the desired timing on the timing disc and put another mark opposite the arrow........ this is your timing mark

Nick on 11 May 2011 asked "I have a question about "Timing disc, metal, MRB" If I buy a cylinder kit from you , will this disc allow me to set up the height of the cylinder from the base, using base gaskets or is it just about the squish?? I am inexperienced in this dept."

MB Scooters Ltd replied: A timing disc will only fit a measurement of rotation of the pistons movement. It will not set up squish.

Nick on 11 May 2011 asked "I have a question about "Timing disc, metal, MRB" Do ineed to remove the engine mount with your timing disc?"

Wayne on 22 Jun 2008 asked "I have a question about "Timing disc, metal, MRB" What cylinder do the marks refer to or are they just a general guide that can be used on any cylinder? I am looking at practicing some porting on an old ts barrell I have and wondered if this disk would be suitable to use?"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: This timing disc fits all Series 1,2 and 3 Lambrettas and is a universal timing guage to set ignition timing and all port timings when tuning a cylinder.

on 22 Jun 2008 asked "Hi MB, does the timing disc come with any instructions? I am new to measuring port timing and can't find any info on using a timing wheel."

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Hi the timing disc comes with all the marks you need, the hard part is finding top dead centre, which is explained in the spanners manual if you have one.
