This handy little MB made stainless shim helps space the stud so the taper part fits better where the rim locates.

Phil on 17 Sep 2016 asked "Hi, I assume this shim sits between rim and hub and over the taper of the stud itself? I've tried sliding over the stud before screwing stud into hub but it is too smaller diameter. Many thanks in advance. Oh, by the way I'm using mb studs in a uni hub. "

MB Scooters Ltd replied: No this shim fits between the stud and hub as you screw in the stud. It sets up the taper on the stud better on some hubs so the wheel rim locates
