Lambretta Race-Tour Gear box selector pawls, oversized, pair, MB

MRB0837S

Another first from MB Scooters and designed by Mark Broadhurst.

They may be one of the smallest parts inside an engine but are often over looked.

These are so important to how a gear box selects and stays in gear - pawls wear they do need changing.

Disappointed with modern supplies we made these with correct steel and hardness.

To fit these oversized pawls

  • Drill out the wishbone from 5 to 5.5mm, run the drill up and down to make sure pawls spin free
  • Make sure there are no burrs so clean them up
  • Grease the straight shank of the pawls as you fit them to hold in position until fitted on the selector

This is a pair to do a gear box rebuild.
