This our the MB-5 Lambretta gearbox, designed and tested by Mark Broadhurst.

Gearing suits all engine applications from a standard 125 to an all out 250 race engine.

Great quality, Fitting worked well, I had no issues. Great gear ratios with final drive of 4.7 with 18/47 sprockets. Very useful in the mountains. Made a Video. Just type in Lambretta MB-5 on youtube

This is the gear box that should have been built the first time. Match to a MBD layshaft and it will drop together in about 10 min.

Just spent the weekend riding in San Francisco. Ran off about 50 miles of steep hills, stop lights, twisty roads and a run over the Golden Gate Bridge. The gear box (and RT195 top end) performed perfect. In fact it made riding in the city a bit easier as I could just leave the bike in 2nd or 3rd most of the time. Only hit 5th a couple of times due to how short the roads are but the ratios were spot on and made all the difference in the world riding there. Thanks again for your help Mike

2-up, fully laden (our lasses kitchen sink), after only a couple of local miles a day before, with 47t x 19t drives on your early box, was just like my LI150 g/box but with a slightly easier spread of power to the rear wheel, + that extra gear too, so bud, I'll be promoting your g/box
