Another simple idea from MB.

This thread insert is designed to repair an over sized over sized crankcase side swan neck or a cylinder stud hole.

Drill and tap to 12 x 1.5mm to the required depth.

Screw a 8mm nut down a 8mm screw, screw this into the threaded insert, lock the nut up tight against the insert and fit into the casing with the bolt using loctite on the threads.

Easy......... saves welding a casing.
