Inlet manifold 30/TS1 fits rubber mounted, 26 - 30mm Dellorto PHBH, 24 - 30mm PWK type carbs for TS1 engines, MB

MRB0521K

This manifold was designed by us after we were having a lot of trouble with standard TS1 manifolds fouling the frame.

People also complained they had to cut a hole in their panel to get their carburettor to fit.

To solve the problem we made a whole new manifold which offers better frame clearance and is designed to make sure your carburettor fits under your side panel.

It was also designed to replace the old rubber type Imola manifold after we heard a lot of reports of people having them splitting.

This manifold fits any TS1 cylinder (or mk1/2 Imola and Monza cylinders with slight modifications) and fits 28-30mm PHBH Dellorto, 28mm VHSA Dellorto, 30mm VHSH Dellorto and some of the smaller Keihin and TMX Mikuni carburettors.

It comes with an inlet gasket and 2 sets on fasteners to fit it with or without a reed packing plate.

This manifold fits straight into a Yamaha and BGM reed block.

If you are fitting this manifold with the standard TS1 reed block you will need to cut a small notch and slot in the parts that fit inside the reed block.

If you are fitting it to an Imola / Monza you would need to remove the two "fingers" completely match to the reed block and will only fit with mk1 and 2 versions, it doesn't fit with mk3 where the reed block fits into machined groove.

The spigot size of the manifold is 35mm.

Tim on 23 Jun 2017 asked "1. can i use the stepped af carb rubbers to fit a phbh on the manifold? 2. Can i use a ram air filter with the std rubber bellows? ///////// Inlet manifold 30/TS1 fits rubber mounted, 26 - 30mm Dellorto PHBH, 24 - 30mm PWK type carbs for TS1 engines, MB MRB0521K "

MB Scooters Ltd replied: This manifold uses a standard 30mm PHBH rubber, no need for the stepped one. Doubt a ram air filter will fit unless there is more clearance

John E on 28 May 2015 asked "Do you have any plans to make a TS1 manifold with the flange type rubber mount to allow use of a 30mm PHBH with a filter? Regards"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Yes in plan for later in 2015

Matt on 06 Nov 2010 asked "Hi, are these short enough to give enough clearance under a series three panel to run without a hole in it, with a PHBH? thanks"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: It will if you use this filter MBU0447

Graham M on 04 Mar 2009 asked "I have a question about "Carb inlet manifold 30mm Dellorto Imola/TS1, MRB" can you explain a little more about the 'little notch' to be cut as i run a standard ts1 and like the idea of no hole in the panel. is this an easy modification-have you got a photo before and afte?"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: On the reed side of the inlet manifold there are two 'tongues' to direct the gas flow.

The standard TS1 reed has a little bridge that would fowl so you need to cut a notch in the 'tongues' to stop it from fowling.

If you imagine the tongue as a V then the modified one would look like a W.

Alessandro on 02 Feb 2009 asked "I have a question about "Carb inlet manifold 30mm Dellorto Imola/Ts1 MRB" Do you have the rubber manifold to fit it and phbh 30 carb?"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: This is the part number required to work with this carb and Inlet manifold MBU0086

Jean on 17 Dec 2008 asked "I have a question about "Carb inlet manifold 30mm Dellorto Imola/Ts1 MRB" Hello, I have BGM reed block with a independent stuffer for air flow. In your manifold, they are the airflow include? I dont need to fix the stuffer for air flow? (I don't see the underside of the manifold) Thanks a lot best regards JEan"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Our manifold comes with the stuffer as part of the casting.

This fits into the BGM Yamaha reed block but needs modifying for the Imola type reed block.

You have a choice: cut off our stuffer figures and use your stuffer or just fit our manifold.
