Hi Mark Just fitted MB50 slides to Targa Twin. Has made a massive difference. Done around 30 miles in urban setting with really smooth acceleration right through rev range. B4 it was 4 stroking and lumpy up to 4800 rpm and unpleasant to ride. So now good for cruising around town. FYI, b4 the slide was a modified 40 slide which had been dremeled to 43 (ie 4.3mm curve). So for all the tuned TS1 etc, lumpy and rich on low revs, like I once had, stop fiddling with pilot jets and needle clips. Swap to a 45 slide, all as Mark Broadhurst suggested.

Hi Mark, I just wanted to take the time to thank you for the job you’ve done on my engine casing. Got it back today & I was blown away. I wouldn’t have believed it could even have been repaired, never mind to the high standard you’ve given it. All I can say is I appreciate everything you’ve done. Don’t know what I would have done with it if you hadn’t taken it on tbh. Thank you for saving it. The rest of the bike is being prepped for paint, still a way off finishing yet but so happy the original engine is going back in. Thanks once again
